A beautiful seaside escape - A Guarda, Spain is one of my favourites.
One of the mountain castles of León, Cornatel Castle is just far enough off the main tourist route to ensure you will probably have the castle to yourself!

Every year Hospital de Orbigo, Spain hosts the Justas Medievales del Paso Honroso. The first weekend in June brings a celebration of medieval artisans, games, food and music celebrating the legend of Don Suero de Quiñones.
El Páramo - a hilly, windswept, barren landscape 30 minutes south of León is where this unique winery is located. We visited in autumn, just as the grapes were being harvested - the perfect time!
The view from niMu Azotea Restaurant in León! This is a wonderful terrace with a signature cocktail menu!
"If prieto picudo and albarín blanco were an animal they would be a lynx. Unique, ancestral and almost extinct. Those are our grapes". - Leyenda de Páramo Winery
Arribes del Duero - an impressive natural gorge carved by the Duero River. We caught a river boat and explored a tiny bit of this majestic canyon!
Astorga is one of my favourite cities in Spain. It is close to León and absolutely full of Spanish charm. Make sure to bring some shoes that you don’t mind getting wet — keep reading to see why!
